On Sunday 8th September,2013 at "Bushcares Major Day Out"!! saw 30 brave and proud volunteers at Waratah Park continuing the great work of removing invasive weeds such as crofton,cassia and thistle (varieties) of weeds.These proud australians made a great contribution to improving the environmental health of the park!! Several tonnes of weeds were removed on the day and maintenance of the grass areas also continued!!
